## Mill-direct only
We don't buy grey cloth from middlemen. Every textile in our production comes through a relationship with the mill itself — Vitale Barberis in Italy, Kaihara in Japan, Hebden Bridge in the UK.
## Why it costs more
Lower-volume orders mean worse unit economics for the mill. We eat that to keep specification control.
