Wash with hot water, dry on the hob, wipe with oil. Never soap-scared again.

A little soap won't kill the seasoning. Cast iron is forged to withstand 900°F — a few drops of Fairy isn't the enemy.
## The routine
1. Wash with hot water + a dab of soap
2. Dry on the hob for 30 seconds
3. Wipe thin layer of neutral oil
4. Done
